This passage is one of the rare instances where Sukula refers directly to textual sources. In this case he mentiones two slightly differing enumerations of a group of GaĆas that is said to be situated at the river AsÍ - the very place where they are named on Sukula´s map. See KKh 74.55:

"vÍrabhadro nabhaĐ caiva kardamÁ liptavigraha˝
sthÚlakarĆo mahÁbÁhur asipÁre vyavasthitÁ."
